Bottom ash is a collective name for a number of products, consisting of burnt remains, sand, stone, glass, metals, etc.
The processing of the bottom ashes has the purpose of recovering the metal fractions.
To this end, the bottom ashes must be passed through a magnetic separation machine. Together with the many conveyor belts, these separation machines cause dust clouds.
The dust points of the sorting lines are connected to a central dust filter via a well-designed ductwork system.
The complete dust extraction of the sorting line must take into account the fineness of the product. The particle size of the dust particles in the air stream is very small. A detailed design of the extractor hoods, pipe network and dust filter guarantees optimal dust extraction when processing bottom ash.
